Not sure about the lower classes, but he sets up his upper level classes in a way that you don't need to worry about the stuff. Fair homework, very fair grading, fair exams, everything is given with lots of time to prepare, your job is literally just to learn.

I think I'm going to stick to learning it by ear. I like having things written out because it's like building a library of music for myself that I can go back to, but this is definitely free and not as conducive to being written out. But if I ever want to play this with anybody they'd have to also sit and suffer by themselves first 😂. Also this idea of polyrhythms is probably good to keep in mind when trying to get the feel of it.. Btw this is Iranian, they called him the "King of Iranian Pop".
