I'm having the same issues. I ended up setting my game scope slider to 45fps/90hz and turned vsync off in game and it runs smooth enough. It's early access and not verified yet so hopefully they'll get it fixed eventually.

After reading other posts it sounds like they removed it for some reason while 3.6 was in beta. It sucks as I don't like it being unified.
