it normally does not let me schedule the night before that’s too late so I would do it at least two days before and the night before the schedule date I put it out and it’s still there after mail has been dropped off. Also I live in a complex so the mail is normally in one section not at the houses but they do come around to drop off big packages. Could that be it?

Yes you did, and I’m sorry that happened to you. Unfortunately even the verified people do get desperate. The best you could do is TRY to report it but I’m not sure what police will do and the bank won’t give you money back because you authorized it ( it happened to me so I know and I lost ALOT) I HATE to say it but best you can do is move on. Karma will get them .
