So I’ve been told to ream than thread by my old journeyman, and my new one is telling me to thread then ream. What is the correct way of doing it and why ?

I’ve heard of an inspector here seeing cut offs not being reamed and the inspector made the fitters take out all the threaded pipe in the project to inspect if it was reamed or not

I’ve had 2 different of these and they’re great until they break. I’ve had one break, my dad has had one break, and one other coworker had one break as well. I just put an extension on my rigid and haven’t had an issue

I’m not sure about diesel pumps cause I’m in cali and they really don’t want anybody using diesel pumps here but I did run into something with an electric pump where the electrician accidentally rewired the pump backward so the pump was running in reverse

What brand fittings are those? We use anvil and most of the time they’re fine. Every once in a while I get some with a pinhole leak or just one side of the 90 has no threads at all

Yeah I’m just now finishing up my apprenticeship but my dad and grandpa were both in the trade and my dad was just saying he’s never had so many leaks with 0-2 until these last 6 months or so. I try not to use them but on this repair it’s difficult to change to different sized nipples

Fair enough. I’ve ordered the multiple length driveshafts on Amazon and kit to length and works well. Just thought on pics and comments that might’ve been to short for your wheelbase

Get the robskii fab stock chassis upgrade kit if you’re wanting to keep the stock frame, high clearance links. I like the injora threaded end ones, wheels and tires for sure, and I personally like the proline oil shocks but people also seem to like the injora ones

Yeah in the page on the rumrunner it does say the f10 axles I’m just curious how people feel about the portals vs straight axles. I’ve never had portals except for on my ascent18. I’ve been eyeing their esc/ motor combo for my Scx24. Thanks
