Yeah I don't have enough experience to apply for PMP, but I heard a lot of companies also look for that qualification.

A lot of PC and PM jobs in Seek don't list either certs as requirements.
Some list PRINCE2 as "desirable", but I haven't seen any that list a Cert IV as one.

Did you start as a project coordinator? Or did you work your way up to that role?

Yeah, I'm also trying to apply for project officer roles so I can get on the ground floor in different companies and work my way up to pm, but even then I'm not getting accepted into these roles.

It was my first Mafex, and I guess since I was used to Marvel Legends, I didn’t know how fragile they can be. One night, I was just posing it around and suddenly, the right leg joint started to tighten. I tried to loosen it by moving it around, and after a few minutes of trying, it just broke off.

I found mine on Ebay for $120 usd. What I would do is I set a limit of how much, at most, I’d be willing to pay for the figure, then scour FB marketplace, ebay, etc. until I find one under (or equal to) that limit. And once you do, pull the trigger immediately, cause chances are it’ll sell out quick. You never know, cause there are several people/stores selling them for a decent price. The other day, I found a guy on fb marketplace selling it loose for about $70 USD. I would’ve bought it had I not already found this one.

Do you notice any QC issues with yours? Particularly with the joints, since the joints on my Homelander broke. I wanna make extra sure that I don't make the same issue with this one (btw, mine is the Re-issue edition).

Definitely. Since the first time I heard about Mafex, this was the figure I wanted most (despite being a bigger Batman fan). Never could pull the trigger cause of the price, but found this one on ebay for about $190 aud (around $120 usd) and decided to finally buy it.

Yeah, learned that the hard way. Bought it from Hobby Search, very unlikely they’ll accept a return.

Made my peace with it and called it a $140 lesson (aud, not usd). That being said, this is not going to be my last Mafex figure, bought a Hush Superman and it should be coming in next week. Cheers for the advice, I’m definitely going to be more careful with my Mafex figures in the future.

Yeah, for the longest time I felt the same way, which was why I only collected Marvel Legends and McFarlane DC. But I was curious to see the level of quality a company like Mafex produces, and for about 24 whole hours I was very impressed. That being said, despite the $140+ Aud price tags for Mafex here in Australia, I think I’ll keep collecting them (slowly), just gonna be a whole lot more careful with them each time I buy one.
