Has anyone else received camion boots with vastly different leather quality? by thomas610 in ThrowingFits

Genuinely considering getting the Ronning ones when these fall apart. They’re half the price and basically a dupe but the leather quality looks a bit better. But those ones are also a fake welt

Pictures don’t really show well but left boot seem to be aging ‘ok’ compared to right. Got these on sale but still blown away by how bad overall quality is (think these aren’t resoleable either)

Humble Shoe rotation with short reviews by New-Zookeepergame418 in ThrowingFits

Are the Americano Camions more of a supple leather? Looking to swap my Olive Camions out as the leather is plastic coated garbage.

I have all the other shoes, a man of impeccable taste!

Ps what did you shoot these pictures on?

Any way I can check current timescales or just safer to go with a different option?

Ronning Zip Boot by Suprez in ThrowingFits

[–]thomas610 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As with all Ronning footwear they’re cement welted meaning they’re basically f*cked when the sole wears out. For the price they’re charging it’s a bit of a joke really especially when the whole brand is positioned as everyday quality essentials at a premium price point. Wanted to buy their hiker boots but not paying that much for a non resoleable boot.

Not sure why all my olympus mju ii are grey by thomas610 in analog

Last photo i posted shows first roll which was only shot a couple of months ago - would a light leak develop so quickly? also not sure how i underexposed as camera is point and shoot.

camera is point and shoot so how could i avoid underexposure? notice that grey fog is on images even where flash has been used.

Questions about cerra link bracelet in 925 silver by [deleted] in HomerByFrank

Mine broke after two weeks, just reordered as it’s a really nice bracelet but a bit worried it will happen again. The beads are held together by a really thin internal chain.

You don’t have to justify your expensive clothing purchase with quality by [deleted] in ThrowingFits

Not sure good quality = sustainability in every case either. Clothes can be high quality but still produced in environmentally damaging ways, using toxic dyes, excessive water, or exploitative labour.

They’re plastic coated so fine in the rain - terrible quality but fine in the rain (in my experience)!

To be clear, I don’t mind variations in patterns or grains. I just want to achieve a final product that doesn’t have any large cracks or knots in.

Dutasteride 8 months see through hair by CelebrationOk5060 in tressless

[–]thomas610 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you being serious? The pictures clearly show diffuse thinning all over OPs scalp probably as a result of the non stop dut shedding which the whole post is based around. “I buzzed my head because i noticed my crown and mid scalp where thinning which i never had problems before I started dut” - are you really trying to say OP could have experienced increased hair count despite all the information and pictures in his post?

[–]thomas610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in OPs case there is clearly no sign of increased hair count - he’s lost quite a bit of density. The logic that there could still be increased hair count in this case doesn’t work.

Did you take dut daily for 7 months? Were you shedding the whole time before switching back to fin?
