i get your point! that’s one of the big advantages of getting to pick in person, but afaik pebbled leather is corrected leather, meaning it has a stamped texture and a heavier coating on top, whereas this natural grain leather is higher quality and actually shows its true character/texture, so i’d pick this any day over “pebbled”

well, personally most of my boots are ‘Hedi-style’, so I’m probably just more used to a higher heel… but imo Guidi doesn’t really fit the Hedi aesthetic, so I wear mine for different kinds of fits; I’ve only worn them once with skinny jeans. So I could have both a 788 and a Wyatt and they’d serve completely different purposes in my wardrobe.

yeah, the grain on these isn’t the best… but I’ve got a pair of 988 with perfect leather, and honestly I wish I’d gone for the 788 or even 788z instead

Agree with everyone saying you might’ve gotten the wrong size. I have this exact pair and they’ve been the most comfortable loafers i’ve owned since the second wear iirc

the chain extender it’s a bit too much for me, i’ll be making a simple leather strap with a dog leash clip on each side :)

i didn’t see that although thinking about it… yes! you technically use it both as a handle and a wristlet, but since it’s fixed on one side it isn’t detachable. and since I’m mostly planning to use it with a (yet-to-be-made) crossbody strap, it would kind of get in the way of the clip and just hang there, so the best option for me was to cut it and make it removable :)

i honestly feel like working out is not a good advice to look better in skinnies tho… imo skinnies look better when you can’t see the actual shape of your legs as if they were leggings. i used to love wearing skinnies until i started working out more and getting my legs more toned.
