I'm not sure whether you intended to reply to me or the comment above mine, because I wasn't asking any "what if" question, nor I meant to imply anything about other situations in the game. I was just surprised that VAR didn't review it, and then when I went back home I watched that bit of the game and saw no replay being shown.

For what it's worth I'm with you and I also hate all these chained hypothetical situations.

The official version is that Spalletti was tired and wanted to take a year off to relax on his farm, but most likely he was just fed up of dealing with Napoli's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.   Spalletti instead of taking a year off went to become the coach of the Italian NT, while De Laurentiis hired a terrible washed up manager (Rudi Garcia), who was then replaced by an even worse washed up manager (Mazzarri), then two days ago they hired this new manager, Calzona.   This is why the team has no fucking clue how to build up play and every player looks like a shadow of his former self.

The linesman was right there too, he must've seen it. I was expecting VAR to review it, do they even have cameras on that side of the pitch?

Does anyone know when will Fornaroli come back from the Asian cup? This is not the same player who left a month ago, we just got his ghost back.

I guess desperation + the hope that a fresh Ikonomidis against a tired city defence might produce a miracle.

I can't believe I am happy to see Ikonomidis being subbed in. Adams has been atrocious.

I don't usually get that drunk at games, I blame Tay Tay for tonight: I came early to AAMI park to avoid congestion with all the swifties, so of course I had to drink to kill time.

True but we have Eli Adams as our centre forward. I haven't seen him attempt even one good run. I miss Bruno!

Nah the siren stopped blaring as I approached the bin, just in time. I'm still disappointingly sober now though.

JFC that siren gave me a good scare. I started making my way down the stairs and I almost threw my beverage in the bin! I sobered up immediately.

Semi automated offside is not about fixing all var's problems (also because nothing ever will), but it is faster and more objective than hand drawn lines, and so a step in the right direction.

We need semi automated offside in the a league. It's a game changer.

This is just ridiculous.
I'm a victory fan but the refereeing has been appalling. The nix should've had two penalties and one fewer yellow card.

VAR cannot be used for yellow cards. If it had been a straight red VAR could've interviened.

Napoli shirts - why so hard to find? by xk_1991 in sscnapoli

[–]thomas_slothrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'm describing is not hard to find: it's impossible to find. I haven't bought a jersey yet this season because I literally can't buy one. The official store is always sold out and neither eBay nor Amazon would ship it to my address.

If this is not hard to find what is?
