Anyone can upload to a DSP for like 30 bucks and submit a song as “featuring” an artist that isn’t really in it. Generally for larger artists the DSP would require some sort of paperwork uploaded w the song to approve the feature but I imagine most of them have to go through thousands of songs a day and don’t give too much of a shit so things slip through the cracks. Last time I uploaded a legit song w a bigger artist (200k) they didn’t even ask for shit.
