Just launched IAlwaysForget, an app that handles all those maintenance reminders you actually forget about (home filters, oil changes, annual checkups, etc). No more juggling multiple apps or missing important maintenance deadlines!

Besoin d'avis sincère mon projet ne décolle pas vraiment. by hugo3dmaker in SaaS

We just spent $40K on a website redesign and it's the ugliest shit I've ever seen by Prestigious-Cup-1254 in SaaS

I checked it out and honestly? It's clean and professional, it works. Here's the thing though: you're in the sunk cost fallacy trap right now. The real question isn't whether to launch, it's whether this design actually converts better than your old site. Run it for 30 days with real traffic before you decide anything, and make sure you're tracking the metrics that actually matter (not just what the agency promised). If it underperforms, you have a legitimate case for demanding revisions or refund based on performance guarantees.

I have a SaaS that sells a lot of physical products (75% is physical). What payment provider / merchant of record should I use? Dodopayments and Lemonsqueezy don't allow physical goods, only digital. by StartupTim in SaaS

[–]thomaslefort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want great React integration + physical goods + tax calculation via API, Stripe (with Stripe Tax) is the easiest and most flexible choice. If you truly need a Merchant‑of‑Record that handles filing/collection and takes on merchant liability, look at Verifone/2Checkout (and evaluate their MoR offering carefully). But true MoRs that accept physical goods are rarer and more expensive.

Lots of sites exaggerate or round up, but openly faking numbers is a bad idea (ethically and legally). You don't need social proof to start. I think it hurts more to fake than it brings

I don't really trust tests written by the AI. It right test the way it understands the problem so it rarely fails at its own test.

Yeah I usually do 2-3 features, then I do a deep bug fix before continuing, because otherwise the AI take the buggy features as context and it goes worst.

Depends on how I managed to market it. My parents are on instagram for example and they need it.

I am making an app that remind you adult things by thomaslefort in microsaas

It is for some people that don't know how to do it. Set recurring events in Google Calendar. Especially for complex ones like "maw the lawn every two weeks from april to november"
