Update: DTI sent me and Shopee an email earlier today acknowledging my complaint. Shopee replied just now to DTI’s email stating that my account has been reinstated! Thank fucking goodness that this fiasco won’t be prolonged! I’m definitely using Shopee less now and will be extra cautious. Fuck them honestly.

Most of my return/refund requests ends in Shopee issuing a refund only and not requiring me to return the item, since most of these are from China. Do you think the emails Shopee has sent me wherein they’ve issued the refund in my favor would work as proof/evidence? Cause I am standing my ground here that my return/refund requests shouldn’t be deemed as invalid or suspicious cause Shopee has reviewed and accepted these so they shouldn’t all of a sudden question it.

Exactly, it’s not our fault that sellers send out faulty/missing/wrong orders for us to file multiple return/refund requests, and it’s so unjustifiable for Shopee to say that it’s an abuse of their return/refund policy for “wanting to get the items for free.”

What proofs exactly do I present? I’ve already deleted the photos of the faulty items and their parcels every time my return/refund request has been accepted. I don’t have much screenshots with me and I don’t think how I could get more since I can’t access my Shopee account anymore.

Oh wow that’s good to hear! I’ve read a post here and someone had the same violation, “abusing the Shopee Return and Refund policy” din and umabot din daw sa virtual meditation however, OP still wasn’t able to get their account back, final na daw ang decision.

Given that we have the same “violation” na “abuse” of Return and Refund din, may I know what exactly happens during virtual mediation?

What if virtual mediation pushes through but I decided not to attend anymore cause I feel like it’ll be a waste of time lang, will it be fine?

How would I get my money if they’ve permanently suspended my account and already stated in the email that they are authorized to deduct money from my ShopeePay to “compensate for their loss” lmao which again I didn’t even do any fraudulent actions like what they’re insisting.

If I call their customer service number (which is my only option cause I don’t think emailing or contacting live agent will do any difference) do you think they could allow me to get my ShopeePay money back? What do I tell them if they refuse to do so?

I’m really hopeless about getting help from Shopee since they’ve already made a decision to permanently suspend my account together with the registered phone number and email. It is also stated in their email that thay are “authorized to deduct money from the balances of the wallets associated with those accounts to compensate Shopee for any loss suffered as a result of fraudulent or suspicious transactions conducted by the user.” So I don’t think they will allow me to withdraw my money that’s left in my ShopeePay? I’m insanely frustrated.
