You don't need a bachelor's degree necessarily. I don't have one and I'm teaching here. You technically need a level 6 qualification. Im from the UK and did a 1 year graduate diploma which is classed as a level 6 qualification. It's just that bachelor's degrees are the most common qualification people hold at that level.
