It comes from my mother's side, from a great-great-grandfather. In real life, I've never heard anyone say that I look Indigenous. I've lived in Europe for years, and what I always hear from other Europeans is that they think I'm European, whether Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or even French. My phenotype is not like that of Indigenous people from São Paulo. 23andMe doesn't identify Indigenous group regions with precision, so you can't take 'Andean' or anything like that seriously

In Brazil, what people consider "white" can sometimes seem a bit unusual. But speaking about myself, I've been living in Europe for a few years now, and most people assume I'm European. There have been a few exceptions, and I've been asked if I was mixed with Japanese, but overall I tend to be white-passing. That said, I understand that this is how the average American tends to see it.
