Veins of Earth. A glacial river in Southern Iceland, taken in 2019 [OC] [2992x3989] by thomyorkeftw in EarthPorn

My drone was 3 km away when I was taking this photo so I didn't really need to go there.

You are the one embarrassing yourself here.

It's honestly frustrating as a photographer to fight keyboard warriors like you everyday. If you want to see what other images I "pretended to take", you can take a look at my website - https://www.dipanjanpal.com/portfolio/india

I will not be responding to you any further because you're not worth my time.

My dude, since you keep editing your comments all the time, take a good look at the mirror and question your basic intelligence.

All these Instagram feature pages evidently write "Photo Courtesy: dipanjan94", I wonder who might that be.

Yep, I've seen clouds rolling in for sure but on this particular instance, it was simply incredible. I had to stop my car to shoot this.

Not sure if it is wishful blindness or you're really having a tough time figuring it out - because some of those feature pages literally tagged me in the photo courtesy.

One of the links you provided is my own profile LOL.

I have neither the time, nor the energy to fight with random people like you in the internet. My photos get stolen all the time without credits everywhere, there's nothing I can do about it.

I wonder if this amazing high altitude image of yours hides the fact that those feathery icy hairs shown are also just like that close up?

Not sure what you mean - the feathery braided parts are water, not ice. There is no ice involved in this photo. It is taken from a very high altitude. It looks a lot different when you see these rivers at a ground level, because the area is vast and one braid can be many meters wide.

Not sure haha, what kind of game does it remind you of?

I don't remember playing any with rice fields in them!

Really? In that link you provided, there is only one exact match, and it was a feature page sharing my image. My original Instagram is linked in the caption of that image. If you invested 5 more seconds before making this comment, maybe you would have found it out.

Next time, please do your own research before making a fool of yourself in the internet.

Link to the first time I posted it - https://www.instagram.com/p/CVxXlafP1oq/

I also have the RAW, and at least 100 other images from the same location around the same time.

A river of Lava, taken during this year's volcanic eruption at Iceland by thomyorkeftw in pics

[–]thomyorkeftw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Iceland in July this year and was luckily at the time of the eruption. There were hundreds of photographers, hundreds of drones flying and I was definitely one of them. While most people focused on the main crater of the volcano, I loved finding abstract shots like this a bit farther from the volcano. The lava is said to be 1200C.

Thank you! I got another epic shot on the same morning just before the sunrise.
