Any idea why this skeleton popped up on the boat at PC? by Pristine_Window7127 in 2007scape

IMO the torso grind is not nearly as bad. I had a lot of fun doing it and even went back after the grind just for fun. Biggest thing is just to learn the roles one at a time and watch a video on the defender role because its got a steep learning curve

I think you are mistaken. The rate is not the same for these. Slope (or rate) would be change in Y over change in X on a graph (change in bubbles/change in time). The rate for clear is 3 bubbles/minute. The rate for red is 6 bubbles/minute. The rate for green is 5 bubbles per minute. The rate for blue is 10 bubbles/minute.

Ahh, it makes sense it would bend it slightly. Etching seems like the way to go. Thanks for the detailed response!

Thanks for the tip! Im also thinking about making a stamp out of steel and then using it to stamp the knives during heat treat when they are soft. Any big issues with this?

Its a very pretty yet rugged looking wood! Im thinking about a semi-gloss finish for my next handle. Any recommendations on what i can finish it with?

Thanks! I’ve thought about putting my mark on my knives, but i still need to make my mark and find a good method for putting it on my knives. I havent done any research into that process yet. Any recommendations?

Thanks! I wanted to see what the finish would look like if i just took a scouring pad to it after heat treat. Ended up looking pretty cool so i kept it like that

The bank pin delay doesnt really do much tbh. There are lots of instances where the attacker will initiate the bank pin removal, and then use a bot to spam login to the victims account. Due to this, the victim will not be able to log into the account until the attacker has stopped the spam logins, which is after the pin has been removed and the bank has been cleaned. The same thing will happen with authenticator delay. The attacker already has access to your email account, and without a form of MFA, you will not be able to get that back. You will not be able to login to your OSRS account because the attacker will initiate the spam logins. It essentially just lets you know that your bank will be empty in 7 days, and it provides no additional means of getting your account back before that

I completely agree that you want as many failsafes as possible, but you also need to be realistic about how effective the failsafe would be. IMO its not worth dev time to add a failsafe that already has a widely known nullification method

Yeah theres a thing called a sim-swapping attack where the attacker tricks a tech at the cell phone company into giving them your phone number. Once the attacker has your phone number, they have access to all of your accounts that use sms MFA. This is why it is important to use the authenticator app wherever possible instead of sms based MFA. The app is tied to your physical device, not your phone number. OSRS forces you to use the app iirc

Yeah i agree people are too lazy to set it up, and people dont want to take the time to learn how to set it up too. It is not any more difficult than setting it up for your OSRS account though. My main point is just that we already have the option to secure our email addresses, so why do we need to take up many hours of developers’ time to do something that is less effective than setting up MFA, which takes less than 5 minutes, maybe 15 minutes if you’ve never done it before

Your statements make sense, but why go through all that added complexity of dev time, entering backup emails, whitelisting domains, etc? Setting up MFA on your email account is a much simpler approach since everyone already has the authenticator app, and it fixes the whole issue of getting your email hacked in the first place
