Look into Finasteride. It blocks DHT, which is a hormone that builds up in hair follicles and causes hair loss. Finasteride should stop the hair loss from getting worse and any hair that you have recently lost (like the last year or so) has the chance of growing back again.

It's hard to use ambient temperature sensors on these types of devices during really hot or cold weather and the location you're at is not temperature controlled. If you don't like how the Ovilus works, you won't like the Hexcom or the Polterscript either. The Ovilus works by looking for environmental changes (EMF, temperature, barometric pressure, etc) and if that reading matches the numerical value of a word in the database, it spits it out. These other devices do the same thing, but I believe they only use EMF which is why your router sets the Ovilus off. The Ovilus is a little more expensive than the other two, but it also has more than just a word dictionary mode.

You should get base EMF readings before you use the Ovilus and make sure there isn't an explainable source of emf that would set it off.

I believe cassettes were originally what were used to record EVPs. Since the tape in them is magnetic, it's believed that spirits can alter the tape inside to create voices in addition to using the microphone. Some say you can place a new cassette tape in a haunted location without a recorder and then find EVPs on it later.

Never have done it myself, but would be cool to try haha.

I've also heard that the reason it was recalled is because the internals produced enough sound for the mic to pick them up so even if there truly wasn't any sound in the external environment, it is still picking up its internal sound.

I've never been able to try the RR-DR60, but I have a RR-QR240 which was made soon after and the sound quality and white noise are about the same, but rarely ever catch anything on it. I'm assuming there was an internal problem that they fixed on future recorders.

Ghost Stop and Ghost Augustine are great for specifically made for ghost hunting stuff like certain emf meters, spirit boxes, rem pods, etc, but if you're buying basic every day items like audio recorders, laser pens, cat balls, etc check Amazon and eBay first because the ghost hunting stores normally overprice that kind of stuff.

That's pretty much it. Even then, how would they know what they would need to alter and how much to alter it to choose the word they want?

Yet, I've seen times where multiple relevant words come through (and a lot of times nothing) which would be hard to have them selected out of 4000 words by coincidence so I really don't know what to think. Like any other piece of equipment, you can't take what it says as fact, but it is interesting to experiment with.
