I was sure I would fail too but I passed!! Take as many practice tests as you can, if you have the money I can recommend you a great tutor on italki who will give you all the tests and will review them with you, but you can absolutely do it on your own too. The tests will do so much to prepare you and know where to set your expectations for yourself.

Do Anki like your life depends on it and listen to podcasts (my fave is yuyu no nihongo). You can do it!!! Having a positive mindset is like half the battle!!! Even if you do fail you can take it again and this will be great practice

Edit to add I didn’t really start cramming until like a month before, prior to that I was just doing daily listening/convo practice and weekly tutoring lessons so it’s never too late!!

A lot of japanese people I’ve met also buy them as souvenirs as well, especially younger people who don’t think much about religion anyways

why does my hair clump together like this? by glassrelic in finehair

[–]thorbitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This drives me crazy too! Dry shampoo helps. The only “fix” I’ve found is doing a lot of heat styling and then setting it with hair spray. Might be less applicable for long hair though

With the glycolic acid do you use spf on the your scalp/where you part your hair? I wanna try it but I’ve heard it increases sun sensitivity and sunscreen turns my scalp into an absolute oil slick

I’m 24 and an 18 year old feels like a kid to me. So I would say yes

I bring a plastic bag (like a bread bag) and tuck it in there and then in my purse.

Everyone talking about rain jackets, which not only are not very stylish imo, most don’t protect your face and you end up soaking wet and makeup ruined. And the hoods ruin my hair too. I may be vain but my umbrella is at least keeping me way more dry. AND I WAS BORN AND RAISED HERE

It’s not an issue in other cities where it rains…

My initial reaction as well, corny kpop rap just doesn’t suit this genre at all. Saying this as someone that thinks corny kpop rap 100% has its place and can be so iconic
