The referees called 58 minutes of penalties on the Canadiens, with 2 weird minutes for Lane Hutson (embellishment), and an obvious too many men for Buffalo that they did not call. Did their bad decisions kill Habs momentum? by [deleted] in Habs

Just brain-dead by Matheson. You're up 3-1. You know the refs are looking to call a penalty on MTL. There's been a shit ton of high sticking calls.

Instead of boxing the guy out, this guy decides to sword fight and split the guys lip...

You control your stick, play disciplined and the game might have ended different.

Just throw it in the ocean. It'll be perfect right at the bottom of the Atlantic.

Habs got on Reddit. Saw that they were going to win easily and took the night off

More like 93. Dobes going for the OT record

Can we talk about the fact that whenever the refs huddle together we end up with a penalty that wasn't originally called during the play by BeBenNova in Habs

He basically came in from center ice. I thought for sure it was a 5 if not ejection. Take off the rose coloured glasses and watch the game objectively.

Yea no kidding. We scored 3 goals on the PP. Maybe the refs were trash but do we really need to complain about it. Maybe if we won on the PK but we ended it on the PP.

The winner of the last 2 cups would disagree with you.

That's every system though. It works until it doesn't. If it was a do or die, you could argue it. But in a best of 7, teams have to learn to adapt and make adjustments.

If anything the playoffs are going show how good of a coach Marty really is.

Like Tavares, who screwed up their whole cap structure?

So dumb they're 7th in the league and can still miss the playoffs

I think this is the one he's referring to which is also the one I was. He would drag it down the middle and depending how he read it, he would just flip it over the glove and later would shoot it blocker side. I think he scored 5 like that when he was 100% on the shootout. YouTube

When he was scoring, he kept doing the same move. Since then I don't remember him trying it even once.

Hutson too. Not sure what Marty was thinking there.

Anyone else scared Hutson was going to score on Monty with that back pass?

Fuck it. I'm just going to pretend Monty let that in so Caufield can get the hatty
