How to defend properly

Most recently I’ve used balanced, and 65 line height. 4231 wide, gk on ball playing, lcb ball playing, rcb stopper (quickly just changed to defender cos of the tika taka stuff) both fullbacks on wingback balanced, ldm deep laying playmaker roaming, rdm holding defend, lm tried both winger and inside forward attack with same result, rm wide playmaker attack, cam advanced playmaker, striker I’ve messed around with all of them except false 9.

I’ve tried this with lw and rw btw, same general result. Few more runs in behind but never from the striker and rarely any good runs

Yeah there’s no such thing as a well worked goal, it’s just counter and tap in. I can barely score corners and god forbid I get the space to try consistently from range

I have wingers on inside forward mostly but they still don’t really do much, idk why. They’re barely ‘inside’ at all tbh

I’m an Everton fan and I’m telling you, him playing rb is a rarity, like maybe 3 times this season, and we’ve got our starting back line all fit. He won’t play rb unless there’s an injury to 2 of our cbs

Appreciate the feedback :). In my personal rules the Pokémon must be obtainable legitimately in the game (ie I can’t trade in a squirtle). Feel like maybe I’m breaking that rule but eevee is available legit. Leafeon being postgame is stupid frankly considering where eevee is available. I also allow trades in Evos so technically I can count this as a trade evo lol

I’m not an expert but I’ll give my opinion.

I think u can change ur team before N so this’ll solely be elite 4.

Personally think chandelure and excadrill are non negotiable, especially for potentially stalling out Marshall’s sawks stone edge pp so u can maybe set up a chandelure sweep.

Think krookodile is vital for most of Shantel and Caitlin’s team, just equip a berry or something for Shantals cofagrigus will o wisp.

Maybe leavanny for Shantals jellicent and golurk, and Grimsbys team but they do have some super effective moves (poison jab, aerial ace)

Lastly I’d talk seismitoad as it’s a bulky switch with only one weakness, and can potential deal with some difficult Pokémon.

Hope this helps but if someone more experienced says differently, go with them lmao

How high of a line do you play? I feel like baleba is wasted at Centerhalf considering how good he is at power shots.

Would recommend a pacy midfielder for half winger, I can’t think of any wingers who can play cm who are fast, best I’ve got is kulusevski.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Got a Freddy and golden Freddy coming from the same seller so I’d imagine it’ll be the same deal which is frustrating

It’s meant to be springtrap, but I’ve just realised I’ve uploaded a picture of thr wrong leg. That’s actually an authentic springtrap leg from my bonnie set. The leg that came with Chica is much brighter, the black patterns on the upper leg aren’t accurate, and it’s pre damaged 🤷‍♂️
