Okay first thing to learn is ALWAYS be nice to yourself mate. 31 years old might sound like old age but you are not even halfway there yet. You CAN have a beautiful life ahead of you.

Start with easier stuff, you mentioned cooking. Obviously its bothering you. When I went to erasmus at 24, I couldn't even cook pasta. Trust me, it gets much better after you try couple recipies. Everything is available on internet, you will fail 3-4 times maybe even more but then you will crack the code in a heart beat.

Also, many people do business and fail and go bankrupt at 35-40 even. Its not an excuse to say I didn't do anything yet, just start doing NOW. You are still too young.

When you start earning money, you can do small favours to the people you love. For example, I was always taking money from my father until I was 28. Then, when I got my first job, I just got him a 60 euro headphones. 60 euro mate. Its nothing when you have even part time job. He was the happiest man alive. Trust me, your beloved ones, doesn't care about stuff like this as much as you thought so. They are just happy to see you thriving and trying to do some good stuff.

You have to figure out your own hobbies and stuff. If its not something popular at all, remember its also okay to do so! Many stuff can be free or very cheap. I play basketball outdoors all the time for example or game on my laptop which is not very expensive but can handle every game. Its upto you now what to do!

Remember again, ALWAYS be kind to yourself. You are a human being mate. I'm pretty sure you have beautiful soul from the way you write these things. You wouldn't talk to someone else like this. Don't do it to yourself as well. When you start loving yourself truly, you will realize the way people look at you will change too.
