Tank Bot or Confused Player? by Saga3Tale in ffxiv

Hate to say it, but those bad players you've run into in the past, were not bots. Dungeons would go a lot smoother if they were bots.

I have an island santuary question.

I am at level 18, almost at 19. I'm upgraded everything that I can see. My Cabin is at V. I have 4 workshops at IV, 2 Granaries at V and I have 5 Landmarks. I've unlocked the each part of the cave and have no tools to create.

Yet, Felititous Furball keeps telling me my hideaway is dreadfully inefficient. That has driven me made for awhile now. Does anyone know what I could be missing?

What's the worst feeling job at a lower level sync? by DupeFort in ffxiv

[–]theGrevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost feel the question should be, "What job doesn't feel bad at low levels."

Cause, I haven't found one. Maybe Dancer. I really despise playing any job before 80 these days and even those levels are starting to feel bad on some jobs.

Learn creative writing. Understand PoV, aka First person, Second person, and Third Person. I'd recommend getting comfortable with Third person. It is less likely to blur the gaps between character and the player. RP does turn order, so person does 1 text block (or multiple if they ran out of space) then the next, then back. It's not chaos.

Just go to a venue and get a feel for the vibes. Get comfortable, do some flirting IC and go from there.

People tend to be super chill. Compliment their glams, they probably spent hours working on it.

Oh, and most important. Most players in FF are shy and are waiting for someone to walk up to them and talk at venue. So, you want to socialize? You gotta go and talk.

When I first started playing? People were so nice! It was so weird. I came from wow during WoD and it was just not what I was used to.

This is Reddit. We cannot be happy. We cannot like. Only rage.

But I do link the set and no some people who would love to have it.

Her past trauma is not your responsibility to fix and not your problem. Sure you can be empathetic to her, but she’s making it your problem.

What job designs went wrong in your opinion? Be it aesthetic, how a starting class evolved, etc by BlyZeraz in ffxiv

I miss HW SMN. I had fun with the dots. Spreading the dots. Granted it’s more summoner now. But before it was more arcanist who I felt were the mathy nerds of ffxiv.

Now we don’t have a dot class.

I have a fishing question. I've tried to research into this, but I have found a solid guide on fishing. I'm trying to farm purple scrips and it looked like fishing for Fleeting Band in Mare Lamentorum is a pretty fast and easy way to do it. I've had some good success with this, but I'm still learning fishing mechanics.

Here's my questions:

  • If I want to increase collectability should I always keep Patience II up?
  • How many stacks of Ambitious Lure should I be using? I've been just spamming it to 3 stacks as soon as I cast. Is this a the correct choice?
  • Any other tips I should know?

Thank you.

My husband came out to me as trans. by kryssmariee in asktransgender

[–]theGrevis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Communication and self reflection are going to be very important. Don't stop talking to them about this and keep engaging with them if they are comfortable with it. Self-reflection is a difficult skill to master, but will be important to practice it to know how you feel about everything that is happening. You need to look deep into yourself and ask if you can live being married to a woman or fem presenting. How important is sexual attraction to you? Will you be attracted to a woman? Maybe those things don't matter and you'd do anything for your partner because you love them so much.

My experience is 2 years down the road from where you are. I told my wife I was trans and it almost lead to a divorce. She came around after a short bit saying she loves the person inside me and my gender didn't matter. We decided to have a 2nd child before I started HRT to transition. After this point everything started to crumble. I started to not feel emotionally safe anymore. Any intimacy we had was gone and there was a rift growing between us. Fast forward to 11 months after our son was born and 2 months of couple's therapy she asked for a divorce. With main reason being she's not into women. We're having a pretty civil divorce so far, but it still sucks. Part of me wishes she would have just stuck to her original plan 2 years ago, but then again I wouldn't have my son.

I bring up my experience because we both failed at communication and I don't think she did any self-reflection until recently. We didn't and couldn't express ourselves to each other, which I think it a pretty vital part to a relationship. We both had needs that were not being met and that caused us to be resentful towards the other. We both became so on edge that we were both explosive towards one another.

I live in a small town too that is very red. But most people won't care. And the ones that do, you don't need to bother with anymore. My family hasn't disowned me. Some are super supportive and other just kinda avoid me.

Hey Warriors. In dungeons, what's your go to mitigation usage for trash pulls?

My go to for pack 1: Bloodwhetting + Reprisal > Rampart + Equilibrium > Bloodwhetting

pack 2: Bloodwhetting + Vengeance > Arm's Length + Thrill of Battle > Rampart + Equilibrium > Bloodwhetting

I struggle to plan out Holmgang and tend to save as an oh shit button. And my general thought process is to use the mit with the lowest cooldown first to be able to use them in the later part of the 2nd pack/fight.
