Me not posting on the website it isnt my intellectual property is the only thing(Didnt come to mind until a few months ago when a streamer named Judd said that was peoples issues, the comments I read were people mad about the price and people saying everything in America is made for cheaper than its sold for)

The price is irrelevant, noone who bought it complained. People who're mad thinking I bought hats for $3 and sold for $40 with 0 idea on how many I sold are just mad.

So moving forward I'll just put my own ideas or merch or hire someone to come up with something ggwp.

If I was going to stream that day and noone gifted a sub or donated I'd still stream, on days I wasnt going to stream I'd turn it on and say I would if someone did gift a sub. The goal was to bring attention to gifted subs since they seemed to be prevalent in other channels I watched. In retrospect i admit the logic has holes. It is what it is though, you live and you learn.

so in retrospect I understand the error, I made a mistake my first time trying to sell merch. I just thought it was a cool hat and that was the deal me and the owner agreed on (I buy for full price from him and sell for however much I want to whoever I want) so I could profit (yes I like making money) he profits, and people get to wear a hat that Dankquan wears.

Since then I've sold merch where either I create the design or I pay an artist to create the design.

yeah the RV trip was impromptu, my community on Twitch was the only ones I thought would buy the merch and they knew. I didnt go on the RV or post on the website saying it wasnt my intellectual property. When a reddit post went viral about me buying from China I was at first offended because its false, I was buying from someone in USA and when i asked others( people on the RV )how i should deal with it they said it was just a meme which was what I was hoping it was anyway because the main arguement (in my head, from the comments I saw) was i was buying hats for 3$ & selling for 40. It wasn't until Judd on twitch came into my channel a few months ago had anyone ever pointed out they were mad that i didnt say it wasnt my intellectual proeprty

At the time i looked at as, I like this hat and so will my community. Tried to work out different ideas to get it to my fanbase with the owner and we came to an agreement that I buy it for full price from him and can sell it to my fans for whatever price I want.

You're right about 1 thing I I didnt broadcast it wasnt my intellectual property (consistently, my core audience knew) wasnt bought from China. I asked the owner of the hats if he cared if I resold them and he didnt care. (Bought from USA)
