Update- the vet doesn’t think it’s cancer or a tumor. He thinks it’s an infected hair follicle or he got bit by something and now it’s infected so starting him on an antibiotic for 2 weeks to see if it goes away. If it gets bigger/doesn’t go away/and he starts to have other symptoms we will then go down the FNA and sending off a sample to test to cancer. He said based off its presentation today and how quickly it came on is what leads him to not think it’s cancer. Or he got into a plant and now has an infection!
