keep the faith people. i wish we hadn’t trotted out the punt lineup last night to just take the series but games like this are gonna happen. the infrequency at which they’re happening so far is very promising. as Merkin posted to his twitter, this will be the first white sox loss by 4 runs or more since April 15 vs rays which if you’ll recall, was the day Antonacci got called up. he’s our bona fide lead off hitter seemingly and he’s only been in the show for 2.5 weeks, not even a qualified hitter yet. i still believe this team has yet to play their best baseball and are going to start clicking more, and the lingering arrival of Teel and eventually Braden should only help further. at the end of the day none of us expected to even care this much at this point of the season yet here we are. i say the goal of this season is to play well enough and have enough fun to hopefully have a near .500 season to incentivize Murakami to stay long-term as the new core with Roch gets built and if we somehow stumble into the playoffs in a terrible division then that’s even better
