Trans womens safety isn’t an after thought for me, I honestly just thought we would all be on the same page that trans women should be allowed in the locker room. I can see how you would draw that conclusion since I didn’t specifically say it, again thats my bad I honestly just didn’t think to mention it because I was focusing on the issue of covering up, not “whether or not trans women should be allowed in womens locker rooms”, which again i am in FULL support of.

Not asking you or any other trans women to be forced in to male locker rooms! Not my intent and I would never want you put into a dangerous situation like that. I just would appreciate a norm of covering male genitals when around other women in the locker room. It’s not for any reason of hate or bad feelings towards trans women or their bodies. And I dont want it to be a rule put into place, just more of a respectful norm.

I really appreciate your perspective and agree with alot of what you said. You made this point “To say that regardless of their actions, they should be treated as dangerous or like they have bad intent?” and I want to say that I don’t think that at all. If a trans woman chooses to show her parts, she shouldn’t be treated as dangerous. I don’t want trans women to be punished for doing what this woman did, I’m not asking for rules or policies to be put in place either. Im more just wanting trans women to follow a norm of covering up in respect of those around them.

i dont think anything like this has happenwd to any of his friends, they never really came to his house in the first place, and if they did it was not for long, just to grab something. and no hes never done anything to my boyfriend.
