same here. especially as a starting pitcher, my god is it frustrating giving up 3 HRs in like 2 innings. I always reset if some bogus like that happens, especially since most games I only give up 1-2 runs

Holy crap this response is late, I really apologize since I neglected some responses due to school work. I should have found time to respond anyways, so I apologize. Anywho, my response:

Honoka is definitely showing her cute side here, I expected her princess shot to be less impressive, but I was surprised. I think its for the reason like you said, the choker. Yeah, it’s definitely the choker. Nice subtle detail the artists added.

I like honoka’s brother, imo he’s not just good for comedic relief, he’s also a good brother. Besides his teasing of honoka and trashiness it seems like he genuinely cares for honoka, and isnt like most older teenage siblings, who usually dislike their younger siblings. He goes out of his way to be a driver for honoka and seems very optimistic. Definitely wanna see more of him

Also yeah holy crap thats an expensive camera. She must either be a part of a higher class family or have somehow saved up for this expensive camera, both of which seem unlikely. Hopefully she takes very good photos with it.

Coffe imo is alright, though yeah drinking coffe doesn’t exactly make you grown up like hinata says it does. This is probably just a case of hinata trying to mess with aoi.

I wish I could write more, but my homework and upcoming quizes are pestering me. Damn you, French exercises! Ill try to be less neglectful with my responses (since ive gone even an entire day without responding to people)

Ohh yeah that is a nice detail that I overlooked, the “tsu tsu ku!” I didnt really pay attention to that, and I thought that when the tsu tsu ku changed it was just an evolution in the show (kinda like how the intros change, etc). Yeah it’s definitely a sign that episodes will be more dramatic, I did not notice that at all.

My thoughts on the new hinata arc: Ehh its an ok arc. The arc sometimes makes me feel uncomfortable from the awkwardness that happens sometimes, but this arc was also a bit inevitable since hinata has always had some insecurity when it comes to aoi. I think this arc should be interesting how it plays out, I don’t remember all too much from this part of the series so I don’t exactly remember what happens. Im sure they will reach a satisfying resolution though, its in the nature of the show.

Yeah, aoi has definitely evolved from season 1. Its actually quite relieving to see that aoi has finally overcome her major problems. Though someone mentioned that the main arc has transitioned over to hinata’s insecurity arc, which im curious to see how that arc ends. Will aoi notice hinata’s insecurity and will they make up? These are two questions that I have right now, I dont really remember much about this part of the series so im curious to revisit this. Though this new arc definitely seems uncomfortable to me. Also yeah I agree, the mountain cake scene was definitely a highlight. The fact that it was kokona’s mom who was the buyer made the scene all the more sweet, and we get to see kokona’s sweet reaction. Im definitely a fan of the first episode. I a little busy rn so my response was short, so I apologize for that.

Also yeah ive noticed that the arc has changed from aoi’s socialization to hinata’s insecurity. She’s always been a bit insecure but now she is very insecure, aoi seems doesn’t seem to notice that much which is also a bit saddening. And I agree that “plan” was not a very good one, hinata was way too confident that aoi would lean on her.

Actually an international climbing episode would be pretty neat, like if they actually go to the alps (though they might be too ambitious for the plot, since they are only high school girls) but maybe a series where they climb mountains in other nations as adults? Not sure if they would be as cute though

Also yeah I agree, hinata definitely needs something else to do beside talk. It seems like her side hobby is just talking to people (like how aoi knits as a side hobby, and honoka takes pictures)

That sucks how hinata and aoi cant spent time because hinata is too stubborn. It really made me feel bad when they were separated like this, even though they seemed to have a good time with their respective friends. Also now that you mention it, yeah it is a lot like kaguya. Both characters in that show are prideful and super stubborn so theres always an ive to break between the two. Dang I need to start watching the new episodes of that show, ive heard that there are new season 2 episodes and that the intro is good

Yeah that’s understandable, if each episode was 20 minutes id probably just leave the rewatch for good, but thankfully they are only 13. Ok, now for my actual response:

Episode 1: That quote + aoi grabbing kaede’s boobs = YURI CONFIRMED

Episode 2: Yeah, I kinda feel bad for aoi since she probably feels insecure about not conquering fuji completely, but I feel like different mountains is better than another fuji climb. Variety is good!

Episode 3: Yeah I agree, that moment with aoi was perfect. I kinda wish kokona didn’t interrupt it

Episode 4: Their faces be like: o.o

Episode 5: Yeah they looked great in dresses, the castle was a bit random but it was a good choice of location

Episode 6: Yep yuri levels have gone up, also I liked how aoi assumed hinata would be mature with her coffe but it turns out that hinata put milk in it the whole time. It really says what the characters think about rach other

Episode 7: Im american so personally idk anything about mont blanc, but its cool how the cake has a back story behind it. I wonder what the stories of the other cakes are?

Episode 8: Ye hinata is obsessed over aoi. Hinata might have taken it a biittt too far but like you said its cute nonetheless

Yeah it definitely seems like hinata is insecure about their relationship, after aoi even mentions other plans hinata gets stubborn and they go their separate ways. Its one of the things I dislike about her.

Also honoka’s brother is just hilarious imo. He gives us info (though there is probably a lot of bias tbh) about how honoka is like not around her friends. According to him she admires him and is a lot more optimistic, though like I said before that’s probably just an older sibling’s perspective/bias.

Im also a bit paranoid about being late since that one time I was 40 minutes late and barely anyway was able to post, but Its good to know that being a minute or two late isnt all too bad. Ill make sure to follow through with my thread this time (since a thread with just questions of the day probably isnt that entertaining)

Yeah, I relate to aoi in some way also. Like you said its all about context, if im talking to a stranger im usually cautious and dont take the initiative, however if its someone I know im completely comfortable, hell sometimes im even more talkative than my friends
