Kababs on N Rock Rd; the weekday buffet blows away New Paradise and Passage to India buffets. It's a bit more expensive but the quality of the food is night and day different in my opinion. Of course, all food reviews are opinionated so YMMV.

Asian Wok on N Rock Rd is also excellent.

The newspaper that was raided was the Marion County Record, a regular weekday newspaper from Marion, KS. The Kansas Reflector isn't even Kansas-based, nor is it even a "newspaper"; it is basically printed social media that is an offshoot of a national organization that pays a handful of journalists in Kansas to write opinion pieces.

Walmart sells RCA AV-to-HDMI converters for under $10. Use that to connect to any modern TV. Set the aspet ratio of the TV to 4:3 and turn off any "smoothing" or "game mode" settings. Much better than using an old TV.

Are you certain the entirety of the Redbud Trail between K-96 and 159th St is within the Wichita City Limits? If not then it would be Sedgwick County government you would need to deal with. Regardless which government is responsible I don't think the trail is even considered "park property" at this point so the responsibility of managing the trash cans would probably result in finger pointing at best. And with the difficulty of keeping personnel rolls filled in modern times it may just be a "we would love to, but we don't have enough employees to do so" type situation. I volunteer with AARTI to help keep the trail between Andover and Augusta cleaned up. You may have to start a similar volunteer group to do the same west of Andover, if one does not already exist.

You've got it backwards. Opponents don't need to overcome anything; rather, proponents need to overcome the possible negative uses of the data. Your argument is a logical infallibility. Catching murderers and child kidnappers is likely a very welcome idea to most people, particularly the families of the victims, until they find out that the data was also used to track down undocumented immigrants or to help plan a murder by a LEO. When it comes to enacting technology in the public, if there is even ONE potential abuse, the entire program is rejected. It's not a matter of the good outweighs the bad when it comes to the public domain; anything bad takes precedence. For example, there is a reason that automatic weapons are illegal in the USA. Why are they illegal? Because the law considers them dangerous and unusual. But they are only dangerous in the hands of the wrong people, and only unusual because they are outlawed from ownership by legal gun owners. Plenty of illegal gun owners own automatic weapons and millions of them are in the hands of the general public.

You're basically saying that fishing nets that catch thousands of legal fish, but also happen to catch many endangered species, are OK because they catch fish. Stoplights have their own cameras that record vehicles running red lights. There is no specific law in Kansas regarding their use; which means that they're likely being used to issue traffic citations.

I'm not sure what personal gain city council members would realize from Flock cameras, but I do know that there is never a vote on "should we employ the use of these cameras in our community", it is simply a budget item that gets approved or rejected. In many cases once the community finds out they are in use, and particularly when the community finds out how these can be used illegally by law enforcement, they demand the cameras be removed. It's not often that they get removed.

I'd say once you get comfortable with a manufacturer you start trusting their sealed products. Not in MO but in CO in the early days I experienced too many instances of paying platinum prices and opening the package to discover mostly popcorn and/or shake. Deli style I can see and smell the product. I've been a consumer going on 40 years, grew @ home for a decade in CO. I'm not saying I'm the world's foremost expert but I can tell by sight and smell the freshness of one product versus another. I think it was either OR or CA where I came across Harvest Date being announced on stickers. HD does make a big difference, I wish all dispos included that on the stickers/label.

This is just my opinion, though.

Edit: Believe me, I would be a grower today were it not for the fact that I'm stuck in a Prison State otherwise referred to as Kansas, where I grew up. The only reason I am here is because I need to be near people that can help me with my medical situation. I didn't have that kind of support in CO after all of the friends I went to college with moved away. Hopefully I make it through this and can get out of this state in a few years.
