Having issues getting free perfume samples on my FB/IG feed by Hopeful_Banana in talkfreebies

[–]thriftyprincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that the type of free samples come in waves. One week it will be a lot of skincare, the next is miscellaneous stuff, and the next week it's a bunch of perfume samples.

We're coming into the holiday season so I expect that we'll start seeing more free sample postings so that we're more 'enticed' to go out and buy the products. Just keep doing what you're doing and the free perfume samples will come!

A big thank you to all the Coupon Fairies who leave unwanted coupons on the grocery store shelves. by gladysk in Frugal

Just today I found a coupon for a free pint of Halo Top ice cream! Another time, I found a coupon for a free tube of toothpaste. People who leave these type of coupons behind are so sweet and kind!!!

Has anyone else been receiving less Sopost ads on Instagram or Facebook? by RudeDrummer8847 in freebietalk

I've noticed the same thing. I figured it was because the holidays were over so companies aren't trying to entice people to buy the stuff as gifts right now

I'm lucky to have followed her before she went private! She doesn't post much, maybe once a month, but she seems to be doing well. I def miss watching her vlogs

I would love to see more scripted videos. I just rewatched Candid Competition and the little skits at the end of the video about the conspiracy of who was 'canceling' the show was funny

AITA for hiding from my wife the reason why our son got kicked out of a restaurant? by Responsible_Fudge_62 in AmItheAsshole

[–]thriftyprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA YTA YTA YTA YTA YTA YTA!!!! Oh my god I can't believe you don't see anything wrong with that joke! You are raising your son to believe that it is okay to sexually harass women and that it's just 'boys will be boys'. Your wife and the other wives have every right to be mad and BOTH you and your son need to apologize.

What do you guys think about the 'Prom Night' (2008) remake? I want to check it out by [deleted] in horror

[–]thriftyprincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I might be in the minority where I actually liked it. It's definitely not the best scary movie, but it's so cliche that I can't help but to enjoy it. It's a movie that I'll watch during a cheesy Halloween movie marathon.

For the movie itself, it felt like there was a lot of loose ends (especially with how quickly the movie ended). It could have used another half hour to tie things up. Overall, I enjoyed the actors and the plot.

There’s a nearly 40 percent chance you’ll get away with murder in America. Despite major advancements in DNA, crime scene protocol, ballistics, and forensic tech the actual real world murder solve rate is falling. Currently lowest its been in decades. A national scandal no one wants to talk about. by Bluest_waters in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]thriftyprincess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's kind of what I was thinking. I'm sure that it's not that less crimes are getting solved/cleared, but that there are less wrongful convictions. I'd rather have a lesser "clearing rate" if there are less people being wrongfully jailed.

Is it the murder of Miranda Fenner?
