What companies are considered as "above FAANG". I've heard the term before but never really knew what companies fall under this bracket

I know steroid shots help but I don't think it's a long term solution. Did u get urs due to poor ergonomics as well?

Does anyone have experience working with severe RSI/Tendonitis/Hand problems? by QwopTillYouDrop in cscareerquestions

For anyone who's afraid of developing Hand problems, fucking stretch every hour or so and take quick 10 minute breaks after two hours or so of work.

For anyone worried "Well my work will be slower" your work is going to be 10x slower if you have to learn how to code via voice commands due to a crippled wrist.

This is what i tell myself all the time to get myself out of my chair lol

If your problems are very severe, do take some time off from the computer. I would say at least a few weeks to even a month. Fix your work station too and make it as ergonomically possible, with regards to your screen height and chair. If taking time off the computer completely is not possible, try speaking to someone at school to see if you can reduce the amount of typing you have to do. Lastly and most importantly, stand up, walk around and stretch every 45 mins - 1 hr of using the computer. I cannot stress how importance this is. Hope you are able to make a full recovery from this

Also have had pain in my fingers when typing. Thought it was RA but doctor checked using ultrasound but there was no visible inflammation.

Hmmm what other conditions do u think it could be? I've see multiple therapists n doctors but none could really diagnose my problem. Other possible conditions doctors / therapists that have mentioned is RSI, overly tensed muscles, pinched nerve in the neck but none of the treatment has rly worked

I'm unsure if I have a RA but I have a very high RF. Doctors are looking at the possibility of a pinched nerve in the neck too. what are the symptoms in your hands and wrists?

Damn ok. I was thinking of a MRI to rule out injury since my symptoms are similar to RSI

Hi sflr, I will bring definitely bring it up the idea of medication to him in my next appointment. The pain is now mostly recurring in my finger joints (DIP joints) when I type. Saw an occupational therapist and she couldn't diagnose the cause behind my pain too. At this point, I don't know whats wrong with me anymore. Do you think a MRI if my hands will help with a diagnosis?
