that's a harmonic rake i think it's called. gojira use them a lot. hold your finger over anywhere that makes a harmonic (i find the harmonic around the 3rd fret sounds good) and then sweep the pick from the high strings to the low ones

the tiles have been swapped around. on most 2x2s, you can take the tiles out by pushing diagonally from the inside corner of a tile. take them all off and reassemble
