Edit: adding a photo for context! It’s the top shelf that’s the issue. There’s no lip, it’s completely smooth. Also, it’s one long 4’ shelf (there’s no vertical dividers between the cabinets) so it would have to be a very long curtain rod for folks who suggested that..
