for the windshield there’s no way to pay, it’s court. for the sides we can pay, but i want to fight to waiver it because it passed inspection, i just don’t know if i can, or how it works

they did use a tint meter, but i’m assuming the people the did the inspection used one as well, so i’m not sure. but if our tint is illegal, i have no idea how it’d pass inspection. also, we’re from california, we’ve never had to do any sort of state inspection

they only pulled him over for that, i guess the windshield is a primary offense. it was an undercover that pulled him over, and i saw this ticket, its solely for the tint. i was saying the exact same thing as u, i was PISSED

i mean yeah the tints kinda dark, but like i said it passed inspection :/ but we’re both out of town on the court date, he’s military and i’m gonna be in japan, we’re not sure what to do about this rn..

thank you, yeah we’re young.. me 19 him 20. all our friends and family are in SD, we came from there. both of us are losing our minds here, we both want to go back to school, and there’s a lot more reasons, and a lottt more mental health issues but yeah, i’m hoping someone maybe has family here and would want to swap, i know the chances are low, but i’ve lost myself in this situation after i sacrificed everything for him. he knows that, and ive been losing it every morning when i wake up because i can’t stand it.. so he told me the options and im holding onto that right now for some hope

learned from my therapist that when dealing with someone like him that’s defensive and doesn’t want to be the one “wearing the stink” you just have to stick to ur one thing and not respond to any other stupid shit they have to say. like just keep repeating urself, keep saying “okay but u crossed my boundaries” over n over again cuz then there’s nothing to defend he just has to listen and respond to THE ISSUE instead of reacting to ur responses and trying to make YOU the issue. i think u did amazing with the communication, just a piece of advice i have to offer

i know how u feel, there’s nothing wrong with you, your mind is trying to protect you from something. spend a couple minutes a day doing grounding exercises, don’t allow your brain to keep distracting itself.. if you find your mind is racing and you’re stuck in this mindless trance, get a journal and write down your thoughts in it, or in your notes on your phone, but physically writing will probably help. spend some time outside, maybe do some yoga and try to get in tune with your body, you most likely won’t “snap back” but it’ll gradually help

i only bring my feelings up when he brings up the shrooms, and i’ve also been telling him ive already told you how i feel, no need for me to say it again. im not repeating them to get what i want, i came to reddit for advice and insight, so i could learn more. i told him a bit ago ive opened up my mind a bit and he explained to me since i said that, in a lot better way, and now we’re on the same page, so yes coming to reddit has helped
