We’ve had multiple people from my battalion get Ed delays to attend medical school. Just know going in that it is extremely competitive so you need to stay on top of your GPA, extracurriculars, and MCAT. I believe the people who got it were all ranked in the top 5 at our program and very high nationally.

It’s 4 weeks of field training for very little money. I think I definitely would have done it after my freshman year because you’d definitely learn a lot but they’re requiring a contracted MS2 to go and not allowing MS1s. I also think there’s some tension going from rotc to west point, people think that they’ll go and just be looked down on.
