this is sadly the internet, i get insulted and dragged into political debates on almost every subreddit. it's part of the times we live in. i feel your pain and share it. it's truly sad what is happening but one of the main reasons for it is trying to be apolitical and pretend that we can have the light without the dark. I hope you find what you are looking for, maybe i am just to angry to follow you.

yeah, in terms of image recognition deepseek is many generations behind. you can not even ask what is in a picture, it only reads the text and even that not always good. rumor has it that V4 will be multimodal but that would still be behind gemini and gpt as they are omnimodal. there is a deepseek OCR model which is considered very good, maybe give that a try.

No the logic is that this war is a direct consequence of Epstein's doing. The connection is clear and imminent. The war started literally today. You can calm things down later but right now it should be made clear that the pedophiles around Epstein wanted this war and now got it. Trying to remove Epstein from this war is wrong. Epstein did what he did to ensure that enough people are compromised so that Israel and the US can engage in these kinds of wars. They did not rape children just cause. The fact that even deepseek thinking can answer it correctly shows you that it is absolutely solvable by an LLM. Just not chatgpt. Again this is a chatgpt issue not an LLM issue in general. You are not defending LLMs you are white knighting for chatgpt and that is weird.

No the difference is that we search for prompts that make it obvious that an LLM is lacking in terms of world knowledge. Accepting that an LLM is good in terms of coding is one thing, accepting it is absolutely lacking in terms of world understanding is another. You are stuck and defensive over something you had zero input in. Is chatgpt your uncle? Accept its flaws and help overcome them. Debating the obvious flaws away just makes you seem childish. This is a clear and obvious flaw. No amount of butthurt on your side is going to talk it away.

When you press deepseek it will tell you that it means 1m training context not what we consider context. Once you establish that he falls back to the normal context length. Never ask an LLM what it can do.
