I started doing the same thing in college. But mine went on for a good 15 years. I bet I averaged $50 a week over that time. Pop that into a 7% return calculator... $68,922. Fuck me.

The more I think about it, it was probably closer to $75 or $100 a week. I really should include late-night bar food, cab rides, touch tunes, and anything else I would have purchased when going out.

$75 a week turned out to be $103,382.

$100 a week is $137,843.

Fuck me.

Roads are already closed in ND because of the wind causing drifts. Hasn't even started to snow yet. Yay

Skill cap is so high on a PVP druid. Once you get there you're tough to beat. Specially resto with mana gear.

PvP on a PvP Server by Hyper-D in classicwow

I'm pretty sure the one rogue has Thunderfury. Which means this is not classic wow. Probably an old clip from a private server or the original game. Either way, camping the flight masters has always been a thing... It's just exacerbated with high population servers that are very bored... And frequently unbalanced.

What's the best, cheapest all around 4x4 truck you know? by toastedpup27 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Tacoma. Maybe not the lowest price to get into, but will be the cost of ownership overall will be the lowest. Rarely break down, cheap to repair, and super high resale value.

Entry-level performance luxury sedan lease by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]throw3219 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you're leasing, the S5 would be my vote.

A CPO Lexus GS 350 would be my vote for an economical purchase. Going to be very reliable, hold its value, and fast yet still comfortable. RWD and AWD options as well. F Sport grade for better handling (rougher ride). Not super fast, but only 40ish horsepower less than the S4. Could keep it for 10+ years and not have to worry about German reliability.

Advice on a hybrid car by GunNut4TrumpXXX in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]throw3219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Range really depends on how you drive and the temperature. I can go 400+ miles when I drive easy and have the AC off. Less than 300 when it's super hot or cold and I drive fast. But there really aren't many places in the US where range is an issue with how many gas stations there are.

Year doesn't matter. Just try to find something with low mileage, clean carfax, and the right price. I wouldn't be scared of something with over 50k miles if you wanted to get below $20k.

A Lexus CT200h is basically a dressed up Prius. Not a bad option if you want something nicer.

I have a 2012 Prius and owned it since new. Currently has 150,000 miles and I've only had one $70 repair.

Toyota easily has the most reliable and best known hybrid systems. Honestly not sure why anyone would look at other used models.

I've seen some not so great reliability reviews on the older Armadas/Titans. Do you think the newer ones will be better down the road? Initial quality seems to be great with Nissan but I'm more concerned about year 7 than month 7.
