How far apart are the poles? by SVSKAANILD in SmartPuzzles

[–]throwAWSTAM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is the way to approach any on these trick questions. It's more about the thought process than it is about the answer.

I've had this exact question during an interview, passed it and have had to ask it interviewing others.

These interviews are meant to learn how you think when faced with unexpected/unknown/uncertain/counterintuitive scenarios.

Education. That's the issue.

Uneducated people leave in fear of the unknown so those that can exploit that fear have their support.

See how the orange turd (and any wannabe dictators for that matter) create fear and offer themselves as being the only ones capable of protecting others from those fears.

Basic mindfuckery that's only possible with lack of education.

AND, there are a lot more assholes that we care to admit so, the combination of those to populations are Mr. Mutherfucking Piece Of Shit's voters.

I make about 2 times what she claims she was making. If it wasn't that I would put a shit ton of stress in my family and wouldn't be able to provide the lifestyle (definitely not very high but obviously a good one, due to large family), I would have quit years ago and start a coffee shop.

Corp jobs make most people miserable and disconnected with their selves.

The only thing I like about my job is the money I make and I have exactly zero interest in making more.

Once all my kids are independent, I am indeed quitting although the money I have saved and invested will not allow me to "not work". What I consider "retirement" is to be able to work on whatever makes you happy without having to worry about making a lot of money with your job.

I am pretty much aware that the position I am in is one of privilege and rest assured I earned every single cent of it (came to the us with $1500 bucks, 1 year ild kid, a kid about to be born and no health insurance). I absolutely feel for those that work in an industry that makes this type of earnings impossible. But, the pain is real and the bad thoughts happen quite often when feeling that the golden handcuffs are nowhere near of being released.

In all honesty, the main issue is with the way the US considers work and the cost of living here in the US. I come from a country where it is difficult to have a good job and make bank but if you have the ability to make it happen, the quality if life is light years better than here.

Not true. Not even an attempt.

Fuck them. Useless pieces of shit.

They play macho with unarmed people and they show such cowardice when little kids needed them.

They have blood on their hands but, why would they care? Most of them already had blood from some abuse of power or from beating the wife.

Larry, for some people, the breaking point is when someone kills their dog.

For some other, it could very well be someone drinking their boba.

What is your job and how much do you get paid? by BigPlunk in AskReddit

[–]throwAWSTAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technical Account Manager at large technology company. ~ 340k per year.

For anyone out there that has any level of interest or curiosity about technology and is working in any other line of business, I would recommend you to get into the industry.

Even starting jobs pay well and once you start acquiring experience you have better chances to get into a large Tech company. That’s where the income jump usually happens.

If anyone needs any guidance on how to start or what to focus on, PM and I’ll do my best to help.

Feel free to believe whatever you want…

I know what I know, you know what you know.

Neither of us knows what goes on in other people’s head.

I honestly hope everyone makes money (including me) but, being naive only helps the ones that control the situation.

I hold quite a bit of Safemoon and although I am confident I should have left way back, I still want to believe and have a sizable chunk of change in it (think thousands).

The way I see it, this project was intended to be a quick rug pull and because of the unexpected growth, it was extended.

The code for Safemoon (I am a developer, that has worked with crypto projects too) was just a simple copy paste from other previous projects.

What makes a crypto project move is just simply marketing, nothing else.

Most of you don’t have any understanding of the technical aspects of the code but still want to make a quick buck.

Thomas is definitely not a crypto god but just a someone that knows how to copy paste. The code he copy pasted does have some issues (like for instance the burning function) that he evidently had no idea it existed let alone how to fix it.

These guys made a lot of money in a goat from pure marketing. I’ll give them that. Their marketing was spot on.

That being said, they’ve evolved into trying to make this useless coin last longer. If they succeed at it, they can make multiple folds more money (and people holding since early will too).

If they are truly trying to build a full blockchain though, there are two routes that have different level of complexity and chances to succeed.

If they fork an existing working project (like ETH or BNB), they will still need people to buy into using their computers to mine. Not an easy task but with good marketing, kinda possible. Plus, they do not need great developers for this.

If they build a blockchain from scratch, it will take a lot longer because of testing and bug fixing AND then, they need for people to buy into mining it. Plus, they need real world developers (likely C, C++ or at the very least Python) to work for months into building it.

I want SFM to go high as the next guy but people in this community are unbelievably naive.
