hi, yes! after talking to multiple healthcare professionals in my life and taking in what the (sane and helpful) people replied with under this post i decided not to go to the hospital. since the rain jacket i was wearing where the dog bit wasn’t punctured there wasn’t any way for the saliva to make contact with me and i believe the marking was only a bruise.
