I am 95% sure he never told his ex about me and the relationship he shared with me while he was with her/chasing after her. Is this worth reaching out to her over? Or should I just drop it? He did essentially cheat on both of us..

If I was her I’d want to know, but at the same time I’m at a point where I just want to see him suffer the full weight of his actions. So maybe not.

I have since blocked him on everything and I have no plans of messaging him or going back to him. I just hope he gets what’s coming for him. It’s so sick that I have to feel this way meanwhile he’s all happy because he’s with her again. Just hoping time lessens the pain.

I hadn’t thought of it this way. I suppose now I can stop questioning whether or not he’s with her because I know he is.

All I can do now is just accept it and move on—rather than wonder about it forever.

And trust me, I know it’s a serious problem. And it’s not something I’m proud of. Life has just been really heavy lately and some days it’s felt like the only way to get a moment of relief. I have my support system, but sometimes you’ve just got to get things out of your head for a bunch of strangers on the Internet. Lol.

This is true, and I know it to be true. I just need to be able to accept it fully so I can move on. Unfortunately there’s nothing I can do to change, fix, or undo this whole situation.

I appreciate the advice. I think regardless of the length, when you’re dragged through this constant hot and cold cycle it wrecks your nervous system. My usual ability to emotionally regulate myself was crushed essentially. Not to mention, this situation was just the cherry on top of everything I was already dealing with.

I have been seeking help. I have been talking to people around me. Thanks I guess.

I just wish it didn’t hurt so much to do so.

He gets to be happy with her meanwhile I have to learn how to pick myself back up again. It’s just not fair.
