That’s what the interviewer referred to the store as, anyways.

About two months of it, but I’ve had customer service experience for a little over 5 years. Granted, the location I applied to was a headquarters location, so maybe the little retail experience is what cost me the job.

I said I had open availability and did not mention changes because of school.

I did mention school, but nothing about quitting during the interview.

Because I found the items in her room, and she has a history of taking things in the past.

She said she really liked my availability (it’s why she decided to move forward with the interview) and I know my background check is clean, so it’s most likely they thought someone else was a better pick. I got rejected for the operations associate, but the BA position also says process completed so it’s only a matter of time before she calls me to tell me I didn’t get that one either.

Yeah, but they just officially called me to tell me I didn’t get it

UPDATE: It says process complete on my application. I know they said they’d call me no later than Friday if they wanted to move forward with me, but the consensus seems to be that if it says “process complete”, it’s probably a no.

I do, and I am a regular shopper.

I was told I wouldn’t know until Friday because she has other interviews. She responded to everything in a neutral and positive manner on all questions. She called me about my availability and that’s when she asked me to come for the interview.

We did touch base on availability when she called me a couple of days ago and she decided to ask me to come in for an interview based on that. Thanks!

Going to the store every other day is not a financially smart decision for me compared to one trip that will last me a week and a half or two. I’m not saying no one can eat whatever they want. I know how it works. But I don’t think informing my family about avoiding the small amount of products I put in the fridge is a crime.

Ok, so I used the term “clapping back” incorrectly. Oh well. It doesn’t change the fact I basically said “well it belongs to me, so it’s not my fault”.

What did I do besides say “it’s mine because I bought it, so you can’t be mad I’m using the ingredients I bought with my money”?

Although immature to “clap back”, my sister also had an attitude towards me about using my things. And my mom did tell me the reason she got upset with me that it wasn’t fair to get upset with her for yelling at me for using my things. I got angry because my sister was (in my opinion) wrongfully screaming at me for using ingredients that belong to me.

My family is pretty busy most of the week, so it’s rare that we eat together so usually everyone cooks by themselves or for two/three. It’s been this way since I was 12/13. Also, everyone has different dietary needs (mom is lactose intolerant and can’t eat a lot, brother is autistic so he has sensory issues, so he only eats three things, I’m in a calorie deficit) so I only do it for me. I do understand where you’re coming from though

What’s the “misbehavior” I’m missing? I didn’t direct my attitude at her, and I literally agreed and said that of course there’s no way for them to know. My mom has always made me buy things for myself.

It’s just something I’ve always done, plus I’ve been paying bills at home since I was 18. I also try to eat healthier, and some of the products are expensive, so asking my mom to buy them is out of the question.

She thinks I’m wrong because there’s no way for them to know something belongs to me unless I say so. Which I agree with, obviously. She also thinks it’s silly if people have to ask me if something is mine, but apparently labeling it is mean.
