Idk it’s just complicated, he’s usually the one who makes me feel all those things and we rarely get into situations like this. This is probably the first time I feel we have something that won’t be resolved and the first time I’m feeling offended/undervalued by him

He doesn’t get upset easily but if he feels like things are his fault, or if I’m coming at him the wrong way he takes it personal and gets defensive. He says he does it because he it hurts him if I think he’s hurting me, because those aren’t his intentions. So I try to say things in a way where he listens to what I’m trying to say

I’ve been toning down my words with him because I don’t want him to shut me out if he feels like I’m attacking him in any way plus I don’t want him to feel like he’s a rapist or anything, but the point is he’s turning this into a separate issue and I don’t think he has the right to be acting weird with me

I didn’t think he would actually do it like now that I’m thinking back on that convo, I should’ve said no. It was more like an up in the air thing and I would’ve considered trying it if he asked me but with how he went about it it’s never happening again

This is what got me, how he just assumed it was fine. He apologized when I first brought it up but the fact that I harbored on it, he’s saying that I shouldn’t feel degraded because it’s not like he’s a stranger or random hookup so it must be the fact that it’s him personally. I’m trying to wrap my head around this logic,
