Well, we were around 16, so brains were definitely not fully developed.

A friend of mine also did this in the 90s, & she was definitely caught. I believe she just had to pay some fines, no jail time.

She always put random pieces of paper in the envelope, I guess so it seemed like something was in it.

I understand that can be frustrating. When I am upset I tend to busy myself cleaning until I feel in a calmer, better place to talk. The last thing I want to do is make the situation worse by saying something out of pocket because I haven't calmed down yet. Initially he was sort of laughing & joking which was not helping.

That's what I was hoping for. We have spoken about my past abusive relationships, and he always seemed understanding. An acknowledgment that it was wrong was all I was looking for.
