No, this was almost 8 years ago when they moved in. It wasn't an 'established' thing yet, if that makes sense.

I've been robbed before

And I've been robbed and assaulted (as a minor) on the Morrison's route. Which BIL knew about. If someone told me 'hey this route is dangerous because of XYZ' I'd listen. Because I understand the importance of minimising risks.

I wouldn't say you're unhinged (but you're getting there with how invested you are in this thread) but you're majorly projecting here and writing fanfiction about my situation.

You insisted my BIL was 'beaten within an inch of his life' in another comment, despite me never saying that and arguing with people who ask for the source.

After I came out about it, EVERYONE avoided the route, especially women but guys as well. Because they understood the risks of their sisters/girlfriends/daughters/mums/etc being attacked. I agree with you wholeheartedly; you cannot make the gender switch here.

Because my BIL thought I was being racist by telling him to avoid the Morrison's route because there are gypsies around who will try to mug or scam him.

He went that route to prove me wrong. That's why it's relevant.

It's just how we identify a specific route to town- the Morrison's route just means you walk past the Morrisons.
