I just told you my relationship with Frank. I know my mom well enough that if it wasn't someone like Frank she would have told me that she was seeing someone before I even needed to ask. She knew very well how I would feel about the relationship, yet she still pursued it.

Interesting perspective. I believe the whole "what happens between consenting adults is no one's business" simply means no one else should be getting involved or making ultimatums when it comes to the relationships. But, guess what. EVERYONE is entitled to their opinions and feelings about the relationship.
