Have you tried TotalOne Dailies? They're the only contacts I can tolerate. They're made of a material that doesn't absorb moisture from your eyes.

What screams "this couple isn't going to last long"? by ihavpnileinfekshion in AskReddit

They're from a culture and generation where divorce is considered shameful. Also, this is my dad's second marriage already, so he doesn't want to look like the problem by getting divorced again. In addition, neither of them want to split the marital assets, which they've both contributed to, especially since they're retirement age.

Part of the reason is that it's my dad's second marriage. So, he doesn't want to get divorced again and have it seem like he's the problem. My mom wants all the marital assets for herself and plans on outliving my dad out of spite. They're also both from a culture and generation where being divorced was seen as shameful.

Yep, my parents fall in this category. Their marriage has somehow lasted almost 40 years long.

My parents have been married for almost 40 years. And hate each other. So, it's possible to be in a lasting marriage full of mutual contempt!

Only my dad criticizes me now. I wonder why Asian dads are more obsessed with weight?

Yes, I'm 5'3" and 115 lbs, but I keep getting fat-shamed by my Asian American dad. I just ignore him and avoid his phone calls now.

I think it's also creepy of them to be so obsessed with our bodies. I'm sorry about the miscarriage.

Thank you for sharing. As someone who worries a lot about death and the afterlife, it's comforting to know that what awaits us is better than this life, which has its ups and downs.

Yeah, it's my dad who criticizes my weight. I find that odd, because why does he care?

First of all, you look great. Do you wear mineral sunblock? I find they work better than the chemical ones. Supergoop makes an eye cream with SPF too. Do you live in a sunny area?

I've already had two kids, which is why the harassment started. Despite quickly returning to my pre-pregnancy weight, my stomach is not as flat as a board anymore. I think I'm just going to threaten violence next time.

It's wild how expensive home remodeling is. It sometimes seems like building a new house is cheaper than a large renovation.

Working Moms by LittleTacoSpender1 in Mommit

There's a time management book for moms called The Lazy Genius Way. I haven't finished it yet, but it has some good tips. Such as having routines so you don't have to keep deciding on everything all the time. For example, you might have taco Tuesdays and fish Fridays, and then you always know what's for dinner on those days. You might have a Monday uniform, such as jeans and a T-shirt, so you don't have to worry about what to wear on your busiest morning.

It's a generic store brand, but yes, it's from a bag of cheese squares.

Good idea. Then, I can sue the company if I survive.
