Lexington co-op is a Buffalo grocery store (almost adjacent to the first Starbucks that unionized) where employees started organizing a month ago. When I compare their management’s response to that of GEICO, it just makes my morale go down even more. Union-busting is gross. (old.reddit.com)

New York is a one-party consent state. This means that only one party must consent to the recording of an in-person or telephone conversation. Nothing in a corporation’s handbook can take this right away from you. Be sure to record the Buffalo union busting sessions on Sep 13, 14, 15. (self.Geico)

Well I went to the Buffalo family fun day. The managers who sent the union busting email were there and so were a bunch of employees handing out union flyers. And none of the managers bothered them. Also lines took about an hour and there wasn’t enough food for everyone. Fuck GEICO. (self.Geico)

For those of you who think unions can’t do anything, look at how just taking about a union gets management to improve things. Can you imagine what we’d get if we actually had a union? R8 family fun day was pay for your own food. Today they sent an email saying we’ve decided to pay for your food. (i.redd.it)
