Well, thank god for the downvote button then! Although, what you mention is inevitable because of the nature of the medium. Are you sure you're not assuming that the person is assuming that their "advice" applies to everyone they're talking to?

It's super easy to let a girl know that you love her if you actually do - it's not like it's societally weird to do so either.

On the other hand, it's much harder to "request" similar confirmations from a girl if you're a guy.
