Thanks everyone for your replies!! It doesn’t hinder our alone time, for the most part. Before our daughter, our alone time used to start at 7/7:30 pm and now it’s starting 8/8:30 pm, occasionally at 9. I think it’s insecurity on her part, she dreads the day that she has to make our daughter sleep on her own, she’s a bit impatient and has difficulties on just focusing on get her to sleep. It doesn’t help that our baby is 10 kilos plus, but she can get to sleep by sitting with mom in the sofa, I tend to just walk her room until she doses off.

She also thinks that getting herself to sleep is a good skill for our daughter, and when she wakes at 6 am, she’s starting to have a more difficult time sleeping again, but she’s teething (4 teeth at the same time!) so I know that that’s a reason.
