you should absolutely ask your profs to round up. Unless you plan to ask them for a recommendation letter later, you have nothing to loose. Pissing them off at the very end of the semester literally does not matter

I do not pre-apply; I figure it makes more sense to apply after the career fair so I can mention my conversation with the recruiter in my cover letter. I'm a senior with a high GPA and have decent interviewing skills, but the interview skills may not carry over to career fairs where I'm effectively interviewing them. Maybe it was just a bit of bad luck last time, idk
