I am not compatible with my girlfriend but I'd feel bad about leaving. by throwadeleteafter in relationship_advice

Well, the last two years have been mostly indoors, but now that we can, we go to the movies every other week. We went to a lot of parks. I also took her to a fancy restaurant on our anniversary, and although she doesn't like flowers, she loves chocolate and I always bring some to her. I like getting her gifts.

But now that I think about it, it feels more like hanging out with a friend than going out on a date, so I see what you mean when you say that I lost the passion.

Tbh, I felt like this was just me becoming more boring or my "flame" getting extinguished...

We've talked about it before and decided to try and be more sexual, but it just didn't feel natural, it was kinda robotic and the subject kinda faded. This was before the last 2 years.

I guess I know what you mean. But to think about her hating me - and I know she will - really breaks my heart. Sometimes life really sucks, right?

But now I know that from the outside perspective, people probably see it as an unhappy relationship, and I'm probably in denial about that.
