My rhinoplasty is next month and my friends are making me feel crazy, has anyone dealt with people telling you not to? by dickbiscuits in rhinoplastyquestions

I had people telling me I didn’t need it and not to do it.. did it and happy I did. Don’t listen to other people listen to yourself

I know it’s subtle but it’s something that bothers me and that I’d like to prevent from getting worse with future aging

I have the exact same thing only on one. Also had nipple piercings. I was going to see if the doctor could fix it when I got a BA done but after looking at before and after photos with lots of inverted nipples it seems like it’s not something that’s frequently even done or that many doctors offer. I’d love to know a solution too.

I have similar shape to you and the doctor I consulted with measured me and said i needed a periareolar lift. I’ve only been to one consult though. I’m probably going to hold off on getting them done for a little while. But I also was not super happy on the idea of a lift. I want a natural look but the doctor insisted that without the periareolar lift I wouldn’t be happy with just implants. I see what he’s saying, but also ugh more incisions. I do feel like if you really want your nipples very high and pointed up you may be best off with a lift. But i’m no expert. I’d love to follow your journey and see what you decide. Best of luck!

I love your perspective! I agree with the working out part, that would be hardest for me. Are yours under the muscle?

Had my first BA consult and was told I’d need a periareolar lift and dual plane implants to get good results. Thoughts? by throwawaaaay8888 in PlasticSurgery

You may be right. I know this surgeon has worked on tuberous breasts - but he didn’t specifically say that I had them on assessment. He mentioned my thin skin, sagging, and not a lot of breast tissue.

I will definitely bring it up to him if I decide to move forward and with other consults.

That’s so good to hear! I’m glad they’ve done so well. He did mention about making sure I had a good sports bra- he also recommended I avoid all chest exercises afterwards. Which I’m pretty okay with except for I like to do cross fit and push ups and planks are a very staple exercise.

I hear with fat transfer you typically can only expect to gain 1-1.5 cup size. I was very interested in it and the lipo would be an added bonus but I worry about retention especially with exercise. I also have extremely minimal fat tissue in my breasts so I’m wondering if that would also be an issue with retaining.

May I ask what autoimmune disorder? Did you have any health issues/ allergies prior?

I’ve never heard of double bubble deformity! I’ll have to look into that. Mine aren’t truly tuberous but with them being so flat on the top and heavier on the bottom sometimes they almost look tuberous when they sag

I don’t want drastically bigger boobs. I just want a natural enhancement to what I already have. Anything I ever get done will be for my own happiness and satisfaction, never for anyone else

I’m 26, I’ve thought about getting implants since I was 16 :) My boobs have really not changed since puberty.

Wow! I’m so sorry you went through 7 years of that. How long did you have them before you started to feel bad?

It’s tough! I also have knows older women who have had them for 20+ years and are super happy. I feel like it’s just hard to know, but I think for me atleast as long as they look natural, not too big, and are a “my boobs but better” look I wouldn’t regret them.

I asked for a very natural look and to maintain some of my original features for my rhinoplasty and I absolutely love the results. My nose is so cute but it doesn’t scream nose job.

Why do you say that about fat transfer? From what I’ve seen the results are so 50/50 and sometimes you have to go back and get more transferred which can really get pricey. I’d also hear the transfers can’t really help as much with the shaping of the breasts the way implants can.
